CQC Fundamental Standards

October 15 @ 09:30 - 13:00
Free

About the training:

This free, half-day, in person session, delivered by leading health and social care lawyers Hempsons, will provide a practical introduction to the Fundamental Standards of Care.

You’ll be guided through each standard, with clear explanations, real-world examples, and useful tips to help you demonstrate compliance and showcase the quality of your service to the CQC.

Whether you’re new to the standards or looking for a refresher, this session will help strengthen your knowledge and confidence.

Why this matters:

The Fundamental Standards of Care set out the level of care and support that people have the right to expect. They form the foundation of CQC inspections and are used to assess whether services are safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led.

Understanding these standards is essential for maintaining quality, improving outcomes, and preparing for inspection.

Who it’s for:

This course is for registered managers and other managers currently working in adult social care services in the Bradford District.

Important to know:

This course is fully funded by the Bradford Care Association (BCA). Places are limited to 15 delegates, one person maximum per care provider, and BCA members will be given priority access. A £100 non-attendance fee will apply to bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or where a participant does not attend.
