January 5, 2027 @ 09:30 - 16:30

Claim 100% of the course fee:

This programme costs £525 per person which will be invoiced directly by the Leadership Academy. Adult social care employers in England can claim 100% of the course fee through the ASC Learning & Development Support Scheme (LDSS), subject to funding eligibility and satisfactory course completion.

About the training:

This programme consists of five full-day (09:30-16:30) classroom sessions (delegates must attend all five to complete the programme):

  • 5 January 2027
    • Module 1: Successful behaviours for leaders and managers
  • 21 January 2027
    • Module 2: Becoming a leader
  • 3 February 2027
    • Module 3: Developing a positive culture
  • 23 February 2027
    • Module 4: Effective supervision and coaching
  • 11 March 2027
    • Module 5: Leading and managing the inspection process

Learners completing this programme will understand how successful behaviours and practical strategies can support their day to day work. By the end of the programme, they will understand effective supervision and coaching, the importance of a positive workplace culture and how their behaviours contribute, and what it means to lead and manage the inspection process.

Why this matters:

  • The CQC expects leaders at all levels to be capable, compassionate, inclusive and credible, with the skills, knowledge, experience and integrity to deliver safe, effective, person-centred care.
  • Our sector needs to support and encourage new talent to shape the next generation of care managers in our workforce.
  • Unlike undertaking formal qualifications, which can sometimes feel like a solitary process, Lead to Succeed connects new and aspiring managers with their peers, building important connections and networks of support.

Who it’s for:

  • The course is aimed at new and aspiring managers and deputies in adult social care services, as well as experienced managers wishing to refresh their knowledge or reconnect with best practice.
  • Individual sessions cannot be booked separately or attended by different learners.
