We’re looking for caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic people to join our team. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily lives, empowering them to live independently in their own home while receiving the tailored support they need.

You will be supporting people who may be facing significant challenges in their lives, including complex personal circumstances, emotional difficulties, or periods of uncertainty. We are looking for someone who can remain positive, patient, and encouraging, even in demanding situations, providing consistent support and reassurance while helping individuals overcome barriers and achieve their goals. The ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain a caring, person-centred approach is key to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting individuals in to develop and maintain essential life skills.
  • Assisting people to access and enjoy their local community, including shopping, leisure activities, places of worship, and social opportunities.
  • Encouraging and promoting independence, personal choice, privacy, dignity, and wellbeing.
  • Providing compassionate personal care and support tailored to individual needs.
  • Helping with day-to-day household and practical tasks to create a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Building positive relationships that enable people to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Starting terms:

  • Pay rates:
    • £11.50/ hour (Age 18-20)
    • £13.20/ hour (Age 21+)
  • Full-time hours or part-time hours available, including:
    • Evening shifts (4:00pm to 10:00pm), and/or
    • Weekend shifts (working on at least one set day each weekend to provide consistency for the people we support).

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Access to a vehicle (to support people living independently in their own home).
  • Appropriate business-use vehicle insurance for work-related travel.
  • Willingness and ability to provide personal care and support to individuals in a dignified, respectful, and person-centred manner.

Previous experience of working (paid or voluntary) in a social care setting or experience of caring/looking after family members is beneficial but not essential. Full training and ongoing support will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right skills and attitude for the role.
